Even though it was just for a short minute and the fish weren't big it sure felt nice to be out in the warm weather and catch a fish after that debacle of a steelhead excursion we just had. once again the flows were dropped to mid summer flows so there is a lot of shallow and slow water. it was nice to see my first blue wings of the year. wish i had brought my macro out.
