Some Familiar/Unfamiliar Waters

Had to make a trip back to utah to help out the misses with a few things going on back there. her kids just got back from a summer with their dad, she just moved into a new apartment and was just a little overwhelmed with everything. drove down wednsday morning and right away got started on some things i needed to take care of. friday i was able to an old stomping ground. of course with the recent high water, the familiar water suddenly became very unfamiliar. some of the holes i know are still there but some have gone while others have shown up. the water was still stained but i did manage a couple of fish. no big bruisers like i was expecting but sometimes that happens. my wife came out with me and snapped a few shots. only got to fish for 3hrs cause i had other stuff going on but it was good to see my river again.

Too funny! You go home to Utah to help the wife deal with life's hassles, and you take her fishing!?! You make her the photographer?

The high water is killing us. I've become a little creek fisherman fighting the overhangs. I guess getting her out of the house was the perfect way to help.
