I actually grew up in Bigfork and has the privilege of fishing that area all my life. Plus there are not many lakes in the area that contain goldens. There are a ton of really fun lakes to fish in the area. Really like the site you are doing an awesome job. Here is a link to some pics of a trip a friend and took to the lake in 2009. http://outsmartingfish.com/2009/07/up-north-evasive-golden-trout/#more-629DerekOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06085841799847541326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5057418688752324459.post-77851838658657556742011-06-14T11:14:40.923-07:002011-06-14T11:14:40.923-07:00thanks for the info derek. i'm assuming the fo...thanks for the info derek. i'm assuming the foot bridges give away where we were atmike doughtyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03771484219579607149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5057418688752324459.post-18409192281285263452011-06-14T09:48:15.389-07:002011-06-14T09:48:15.389-07:00Just to throw this out there that particular lake ...Just to throw this out there that particular lake you fished has a cuttie golden mix. Mt fish and game used to plant goldens and cutties there and they have cross bred. Super cool fish and occasionally I have seen a pure golden in there that slips down from the upper lake I assume during run off.
